Went to the Abbotsford Airshow for the first time in like 10-15 years. The airshow briefly stopped for a few years due to low attendance and high costs (all the major military aircraft are paid appearance fees) but it’s back now at a much smaller scale. In the past the Blue Angels would attend and from time to time you’d see even Russian aircraft attend.

This year there weren’t any F-4s, F-14s, F-16s (none on display that is) and no MIGs or SUs.

Nonetheless seeing a hot rod aircraft like an F-18 or a F-16 perform in the sky is an awesome sight. Those things are Formula 1 cars of the sky – they are are amazing and worth the price of admission.
