I'm not anti-Olympics, I'm anti-taking money from the poor and giving it to rich assholes.

Hey, if cute chicks want to hug me I’m all for it.

Really, this is totally stupid. Hugs, not drugs people.

Commuting

I have a 30 minute door to door commute to work each morning followed by a 45 min door to door commute back home in the afternoon. While I love driving the commute is proving tiresome and largely boring (I’ve never had to drive so much to get to work). I take solace in small pieces of entertainment – the awesome on ramp to highway 1 from Willingdon and my ability to build as much as a 3 minute lead on other cars despite heavy traffic.

I’m not sure how people do long commutes.

How to Save on Steak: Menus : gourmet.com.

I’m really a rib-eye steak kinda guy because I love the rich, fatty cap that the rib eye cut has. Of course a rib-eye has about twice the number of calories as a regular sirloin so you better be prepared to hit the gym afterwards.

A couple of the alternatives here are favourites of mine – the flank steak is a new one that I really like marinated with a balsamic marinade. Hanger steak is also delicious although I’ve never been able to get it raw.

I really would like an NBA team in Vancouver. I prefer watching basketball over hockey.

Downtown Streetcar Project – Transportation, Engineering Services, City of Vancouver.

Not sure how I missed this but I love the idea of building out some street car infrastructure – the west side of Vancouver could stand to have this instead of Skytrain.
